Tokyo (22.12.2016 - 9.1.2017) #4

Hey!

The next destinations were:

Meiji Shrine, Sumida, Asakusa, Minato, Ikebukuro, Shimokitazawa

Tuesday 3rd:
This day we went to Meiji Shrine for hatsu mode (初詣) in the afternoon. There were lots of people but I heard there could have been even more if we went on 1st or 2nd of January... It was nice to take part in Japanese tradition though.
After the shrine we went to eat to Moomin House Café in Sumida! It was cute and the sweets good. After eating we saw Tokyo Skytree, the tallest tower in the world (& second tallest structure after Burj Khalifa) in evening illumination, then we went back to my friend's place.

Wednesday 4th:
The day started with Asakusa, one of the places I looked forward to the most. But I have to admit, I liked Kamakura better in the end. We walked around for hours and went to sushi, it was so delicious! Unfortunately my phone was messing up so the pictures are not so good...
After sushi we visited Tokyo Tower in Minato-ku and took some photos before heading back and the day was over.

Thursday 5th:
Today it was time for Ikebukuro and Shimokitazawa. Didn't do much, just walked around and visited many shops and bought things. In the evening we watched one Resident Evil movie, as we were going to see the latest one soon.

Friday 6th:
Nothing much happened, only ate in Mikon Finland Café that had Finnish things and food, felt like home and it was great to eat some Finnish food after a long time! :D

Saturday 7th:
We went to see Resident Evil: Final Chapter movie in 4D, it was exciting and funny as we saw it early in the morning. After the movie we went to Round1 to bowl and play darts. In the evening we went to karaoke.

Sunday 8th & Monday 9th:
On Sunday there didn't happen anything, just relaxed and packed for the next morning when it was time to return to Sapporo. It was almost weird to be back home in the snow after almost 3 weeks. But during those weeks I got to see a lot and I'm happy and grateful about it!
