My dormitory!

Vihdosta viimeinkin postaus tästä asuntolasta, jossa asustelen vielä viimeiset viikot! Hokudai International House Kita23 Building 2 on siis asuntolan nimi. Kaikkien mielestä täältä yliopistolle on pitkä matka, mitä en ymmärrä koska se on periaatteessa vain suoraa tietä, pyörällä 10 minuuttia, keskustaan (eli Sapporon asemalle) puolet enemmän.

Olen iloinen että valitsin tämän asuntolan. Onhan tässä huonojakin puolia kuten tiukat säännöt, ja jos on epäonnea, saa ei-niin-kivoja kämppiksiä. Mutta onneksi enimmäkseen on vain hyviä puolia. Sain aivan mahtavat kansainväliset kämppikset, ei tarvitse olla yksin (ellei erikseen halua huoneeseensa syrjäytyä), siivoojat käyvät joka päivä, managerit ovat mukavia jne.

Tässä rakennuksessa on 8 kerrosta, jokaisessa kaksi eri kämppää, jossa yhdessä asuu siis 8 tyttöä. Nämä kerroksen kaksi kämppää ovat toistensa peilikuvat sisältä, esim. meidän keittiö on oikealla, vastakkaisessa kämpässä se on vasemmalla.

Finally a post about this dormitory where I'll be living for the last weeks more! Hokudai International House Kita23 Building 2 is the name of this dorm. Everyone thinks university is far from here which I don't understand because it's basically straight road, by bike 10 minutes, to centre (Sapporo station) double the time.

I'm happy I chose this dormitory. It has its bad sides too like the strict rules and if you're unlucky, you get not-so-nice roommates. But mostly it has good sides. I got amazing international roommates, you don't have to be alone (unless you want to stay in your room all the time), cleaners come every day, dorm managers are kind etc.

This bulding has 8 floors, each floor has two flats and 8 girls live in one flat. These two flats per floor are mirror images of each other from inside, for example, our kitchen is on the right side, the opposite flat's is on the left.

Asuntolaan pääsee sisälle ainoastaan sormenjäljillä, sekä ulko-ovella että asuntoon. Huoneisiin on omat avaimet. Tuonne siis työnnät yhden sormen ja hetken päästä piippauksen jälkeen ovi avautuu.

You can get in to the building and the flat only with fingerprints. For rooms you have own keys. You stick your finger in there and soon after a beep the door opens.

Näkymä kun tullaan kämppään. Edessäpäin pimeä huoneiden käytävä. Heti vasemmalla on vessat.

Keittiötä, oikealle mentäessä tulisi pesutilat.

Pesutilat, kaksi pesukonetta ja kuivuria sekä kaksi suihkukoppia.

Tältä huoneeni näytti kun muutin sinne. Joka toinen huone on muuten samanlainen. Seinänaapureideni sängyt ovat siis vasemmalla.

My room when I moved in. Every other room is similar by the way, so my roommates on both sides have their bed on left side.

Päivitän ehkä joskus tarkemman kuvan huoneestani, en vaan millään ole saanut sitä siivottua kuvaamiskelpoiseksi. Heti oikealla seinän takana olisi lavuaari ja peili, sen vieressä jääkaappi mikä näkyykin sängyn jalkopäässä. Sängyn vieressä oleva valkoinen hökötys on lämmitin. Vasemmalla oven jälkeen on vaatekaappi ja sen vieressä hyllykkö ja työpöytä tuoleineen.

Siinäpä oli tämä asuntola!

Maybe someday I will update more detailed photos of my room, I just haven't been able to clean it for photos. Right after the wall on the right there would be a sink and a mirror. Next to those there's the fridge you can see at the foot of the bed. The white thingy next to the bed is a heater. On the left after the door there's wardrobe and next to it a shelf and desk with chair.
